LED Expo New Delhi celebrates 30th edition with comprehensive 360-degree lighting display
LED Expo New Delhi 2025 concluded on a high note, drawing over 12,000 visitors from India and 21 countries and spotlighting the scale, innovation, and growing manufacturing strength of the country’s LED and smart lighting industry.”
LED Expo New Delhi 2025, India’s biggest trade expo for LED and smart lighting technology, attracted 12,032 people from 28 Indian cities and Union territories, as well as 21 other countries. The show floor reflected India’s growing manufacturing and scale capabilities. LED components, chips, and new lighting products are increasingly used in decorative, architectural, and façade applications.
The event highlighted innovative lighting solutions for luxury interiors, including residential, hotel, and commercial areas. The architectural lighting expo featured 75 first-time exhibitors from China, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, and the UAE, showcasing innovative solutions.
During the event, knowledge workshops were held in collaboration with Women in Lighting and the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) to address key topics. This year’s presentations focused on the promise and problems of lighting India’s great heritage structures, with eminent speakers who specialise in heritage architecture conservation. The seminars provided an opportunity to share ideas and solutions for technical improvements in lighting goods, including their applications.
As India continues to reinforce its efforts to establish solid manufacturing supply chains, the strength and scale of lighting manufacturers were highlighted on the exhibition floor, which also included innovations.
Over 50 MSMEs participated in the LED Expo New Delhi, showcasing their latest lighting products and innovations. The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) provided support, resulting in a specialised MSME Pavilion.
With a solid attendance of exhibitors and visitors, this edition strengthened the platform’s credibility in generating new business prospects. The 30th edition of the expo included over 6,000 products and 2,000 businesses, providing attendees with access to cutting-edge lighting, LED, and related technology and applications. The show featured presentations and discussions on solar lighting for sustainability, façade lighting as an architectural storytelling tool, and human-centric lighting solutions.
The expo was supported by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL), Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Council of Architecture (COA), Federation of Hotels and Restaurant Association of India (FHRAI), International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), Illuminating Engineering Society (IES), and Luminaire Accessories and Components Manufacturers Association (LACMA).
LED Expo New Delhi is part of Messe Frankfurt’s Light + Building Technology exhibition portfolio, which includes the biennial Light + Building event in Frankfurt, Germany. The next iteration will be place from March 8-13, 2026. Messe Frankfurt hosts trade events for light and building technologies throughout Asia, Argentina, China, the UAE, and the USA.
